KHL canceled three matches with the participation of Riga “Dynamo” due to COVID

The website of the Kontinental Hockey League reports that a decision has been made to cancel the matches between Dynamo Riga and Dynamo Minsk on November 12, Metallurg Magnitogorsk on January 13 and Avtomobilist in Yekaterinburg on January 17.

The decision was made due to the fact that 14 hockey players of the Riga club, one coach and two representatives tested positive for coronavirus.

The decision to hold these matches at a later date will be made additionally.

Note that earlier, for the same reason, matches with the participation of CSKA, Avtomobilist and Ufa Salavat Yulaev were canceled.

Next week, the KHL will hold a meeting with the club on a possible suspension of the championship.
