The opening match of the Rugby World Cup takes place this Friday August 8, 2023. At what time and on which channel? Practical information on television broadcasting.

The Rugby World Cup kicked off this Friday, September 8. After the summit meeting between France and New Zealand, the competition continues this weekend with several meetings which will liven up the days of oval fans. This Saturday, September 9, 2023, Italy faces Namibia at 1 p.m. on M6, before the Ireland-Romania match scheduled for 3:30 p.m., still on the sixth channel. Australia will next play Georgia at 6 p.m. in a scheduled Six match. It will be TF1’s turn to go on air at 9 p.m., to broadcast the England-Argentina match.

This Sunday, September 10, the World Cup qualifying phases continue with three matches. First, Japan will play against Chile from 1 p.m. in a match broadcast first on France 3, before switching to France 2. Then, the meeting between South Africa and Scotland will bring together viewers in front of France 2 at 5:45 p.m. Finally, the day will end with the clash between Wales and Fiji, at 9 p.m. on TF1.

The Rugby World Cup will punctuate sports news until October 28. Some spectators were able to get their tickets to see the matches scheduled at the Stade de France, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Saint-Etienne and Toulouse.
