The Japanese company Nintendo showed a new console at the Gamescom exhibition at the end of August, which should become the successor to the Switch. About it reports Eurogamer resource with a link to visitors to the closed presentation.

The new console is similar in form factor to an improved version of the Switch; at the presentation, an updated version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was launched on it, as well as a tech demo of The Matrix Awakens.

Po data Universo Nintendo portal, the proposed Switch 2 will receive 12 GB of RAM, support for ray tracing and DLSS 3.1 from NVIDIA – this could make the device the only modern console that features Nvidia’s upscaling system. Nintendo is expected to release its new console at the end of 2024, with insiders previously citing a possible console price of around $400.
