Ralph Lauren’s latest fashion show at New York Fashion Week became one of the most talked-about events of the month. The designer’s rustic spring 2024 show and dinner, held at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, attracted a star-studded guest list of over 60 celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez and Sofia Richie Grainge.
Transforming the cavernous space into a wood-floored, canvas-draped artist’s loft, Ralph Lauren showcased his collection inspired by his sprawling Double RL Ranch in Colorado. The show was followed by a seated dinner for 250 guests in a reimagined barn setting.
Among the notable attendees were Gabrielle Union, Robin Wright, Kevin Love, Sheryl Crow, Ariana DeBose, Leo Woodall, Meghann Fahy, Amanda Seyfried, and Cara Delevingne. The guests enjoyed a sumptuous meal featuring Ralph’s Polo Bar classics, such as RRL filet mignon and grilled lobster salad, with a sinful brownie a la mode for dessert.
Ralph Lauren’s event stood out as New York Fashion Week’s most exclusive gathering. The runway presentation was equally impressive, featuring a series of the designer’s greatest hits, from embellished denim skirts and pin-striped suiting to Gatsby-esque glittering gowns. Supermodel Christy Turlington closed the show in a slinky metallic evening dress.
Mindy Kaling, an actor and comedian in attendance, described the show as “incredible” and praised each look as more fabulous than the next. She even mentioned considering some dresses for future premieres once the Hollywood strike comes to an end. Actor Matthew Rhys jokingly discussed with his wife Keri Russell that he would wear some of the dresses on the red carpet if he had the figure for it.
