MSI has announced the MAG Codex 6, the latest iteration of one of its most modest desktops, although it has good maximum power and low consumption while playing. It has a size of 407 mm × 174 mm × 447 mm, which is a volume of 31.7 L, which is within reason for any desktop. The design remains similar to the previous one, with some ARGB lighting on the front, and a side panel with a small window and a ventilation grille.
It can be configured with a Core i5-13400/F o one Core i7-13700/Fand even a RTX 4070 although it does not indicate which is the smallest graphics card that can be included; probably an RTX 4060. A 500W power supply with an 80 PLUS Bronze certificate is included. There are two slots for DDR5, preconfigured with 4800 MHz modules. For storage there is one M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 ×4 slot, two 2.5-inch bays and one 3.5-inch bay.
For audio there is a Realtek ALC897 codec, while for Ethernet there is an Intel I219-V controller. On the front panel there is a USB 3.0 Type C, a USB 3.0 and two 3.5mm audio jacks. On the rear panel there are two USB 3.0, four USB 2.0, one PS/2, one VGA socket, one DISplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1, as well as one RJ-45 and three 3.5mm audio. There is Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E.
