A project that uses marine bacteria to regenerate bone tissue will take a young Portuguese team to a science competition next week in Brussels. The European competition is “an annual showcase of the best research carried out by European pre-university students”, explains Rita Rocha, the supervisor of a project that also produces hydrogen that can be used as a source of green energy.
