Venice could be downgraded to ‘heritage in danger’ by UNESCO; Ukraine calls for protection of monuments

This Sunday (10), UNESCO begins analyzing its list of World Heritage Sites, as well as those listed as “heritage in danger”. The final list should be confirmed on September 25, when potentially endangered sites will find out if they have joined the UNESCO World Heritage list at a meeting in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia.
