According to authorities, a distress call was received at 3:46 p.m. on September 10th, alerting the police to a victim found in the 2100 block of South Spotswood Trail. Upon arrival, authorities discovered the victim still breathing but unresponsive. Tragically, despite efforts to save his life, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have determined that the shooting occurred at a distant location and the victim was then transported to South Spotswood Trail while seeking medical assistance.
