Morocco only accepts aid from Spain, the United Kingdom, Qatar and the Emirates after the earthquake
The Moroccan Ministry of the Interior has made explicit in a statement that it has only accepted the help offered by Spain, United Kingdom, Qatar and United Arab Emirates in response to the earthquake that has left more than 2,100 dead in the Atlas Mountains region.
“The Moroccan authorities have responded favorably, during this specific phase, to the offers of support from the friendly countries Spain, Qatar, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, which had offered mobilize search and rescue teams“, the Ministry has indicated in an official statement picked up by the Moroccan television 2M.
