The WhatsApp messaging network used by millions of people in the world continues to innovate and now presents another novelty for users.
It is common for an error to be made when writing a message and the user realizes this when they have already sent it, whether to a private chat or a group to which they are part.
That is why WhatsApp now has the option to edit sent messages.
WhatsApp has started sending the following message: Did you make a small mistake when writing a message? No problem.
The message adds that you can now easily edit messages up to 15 minutes after you’ve sent them, whether to fix a mistake or change an emoji.
In Guatemala, some users have already received the message regarding this option.
Since last May, the function for editing messages has been enabled, but many users are still unaware of it.
On that occasion, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, owner of the messaging application, wrote: You can now edit your WhatsApp messages up to 15 minutes after they are sent!
If you have already sent the message and it has an error, hover your mouse over the text you want to correct, then check the menu option.
