We inform you that the payment of emergency aid for the student body of Campus dos Malês is being made today (12) and that tomorrow, September 13, the established amounts will be in the respective accounts.
We highlight that we await receipt of the necessary resources from the Ministry of Education, but that we anticipate all procedures using budget credit from the university’s LOA, internally relocating PNAES resources scheduled to pay aid in the month of December, in the expectation of receiving, from from the MEC, the credit promised to resolve the emergency situation in Malês.
With this decision, we anticipate the budgetary allocation, commitment and settlement, parallel to the internal procedures of registering all students according to an agreement made together with the student representation and campus management. These procedures were guaranteed with a task force from Proplan and Propae teams in the middle of the weekend on September 7th.
After all the procedures were carried out, including the anticipation of payments for regular aid and scholarships offered by Unilab, there was a little more than R$ 300,000.00 remaining, which made it impossible to pay the amount necessary to pay the emergency aid, as long as it was not we paid no university fees.
Given this, it was up to Rector Roque Albuquerque to postpone the planned visit to the campus and travel to deal with sending the financial and budget credit. It should be noted that we have not yet received the appeal, but as we have received more regular funding, we will be paying emergency aid today, 12/09/2023, which will be in the students’ accounts the following day, 13/09/203.
In case of non-receipt, the student must contact the Dean of Affirmative and Student Policies who will promptly adjust any inconsistencies.
