Apple introduces updated second-generation AirPods Pro with new features
Apple has announced the release of updated second-generation AirPods Pro, which now come with a USB-C charging case. While they are still classified as second-generation AirPods Pro, these earbuds boast a few other new features as well.
According to a press release by Apple, the updated AirPods Pro will support 20-bit, 48 kHz lossless audio with ultra-low latency when connected to Apple’s new Vision Pro headset, which is set to launch in early 2024. This advancement promises an exceptional wireless audio experience for entertainment, gaming, FaceTime calls, and more.
In addition to the improved audio capabilities, the updated AirPods Pro also come with enhanced IP54-rated dust resistance for both the earbuds and the charging case.

However, Apple has decided not to sell the USB-C charging case separately and has also discontinued the AirPods Pro with a Lightning case.
