About forty Social Workers gathered this September 10 at the most solemn of the Artemisa sites, as celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the creation of that program by Commander in Chief Fidel, was the motivation of those who today are led by the Directorate of Labor and Social Security.

The first recognition of the morning came to Euler Cantillo Velázquez, president of the Municipal Assembly, who was trained by this program, and to whom he thanks for his degree in Law; Meanwhile, the young people also praised the mayor of Artemisa, Juan Permuy Felipe, for his company in the assigned tasks, for his sensitivity and perseverance in each delivery.

Ivón Pérez Leal, director of Labor and Social Security, recognized the most outstanding in the stage, among them Yenia Madera Hernández, one of the founders of the Social Workers Program, who referred to “the responsibility of being more than assistance entities capable of involving to the families that promote their own change, hence the passion and conviction that must characterize them.”

The morning of September 10, in which many visited the Mausoleum of the Martyrs of Artemisa for the first time, and learned more about its history, was conducive to signing the Code of Ethics, which this year has as its central idea Beating with Cuba, and defines the conduct to follow, being faithful to the principles and values ​​that created them 23 years ago at the hands of Fidel Castro.
