Caroline Colin from Diest left last Thursday with four friends on a city trip to Marrakesh, Morocco. What was supposed to be a fun weekend ended in a real nightmare. One of the friends was seriously injured by the earthquake on Friday evening, but unfortunately they did not have to count on help from the Foreign Office. “It wasn’t until two days later that we were told to call 911.”
