Salaries in 2024: towards an increase of 4% on average, up to 15% in certain sectors

Wages keep pace with inflation. After a year 2022 which ended with an increase in remuneration in the private sector of 3.9% according to the Ministry of Labor, salaries should still increase by 4.5% in 2023 and experience an increase between 3.5 % to 4% in 2024 according to the annual PageGroup study. To achieve this result, the recruitment firm, which has some 750 consultants in France, scrutinized the salaries practiced in more than 850 professions spread across 25 sectors of activity. With a lesson: the dynamic on wages is not weakening.
