Actor and comedian Bob Sagt, known to all of us as “Danny Tanner”, the father of the cult series “Growing Sorrows of Girls”, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 65.

Sagitt is found lifeless in a hotel room in Orlando, during a tour. The cause of death is still unknown, no evidence of a heart attack or drug use has been found. Sagat even posted on Instagram about the excitement ahead of the shows.

No! Is a full sentence: the mantra of the Olson sisters

“We are very sad to announce the passing of our beloved Bob,” his family said. “He was everything to us, and we want you to know how much he loved his fans and performing in live shows and bringing people humor.”

As mentioned, Sagat’s most famous role was in the series “Grief Growing Up Girls” (Full House), which aired between the years 1987-1995, characterized the 90’s, and became a big hit in Israel as well. The series told the story of a father who had to deal with raising his daughters without his late wife, but with the help of his friends and family.

In recent years, Sagitt has returned to play the character of Tenner in the sequel to the series Growing Girls – The Next Generation (Fuller House).

A blatant comedian

While Sagitt was best known for his role in the family series, he also had a glorious stand-up career. In it he tended to use rather blunt humor. Among other things, you can see his “real” character in the “Entourage” series, where he played the neighbor of the main character Vincent Chase.
