Golden Globes 2022: ‘Power of the Dog’ Best Picture at the Golden Globes; ‘Success’ is the best series

Western psychological drama ‘Power of the Dog’ wins the 79th Golden Globes Awards (Gloden Globes 2022) announced. The film won the Best Drama Award for the film directed by Jane Campion. The film won Jane the Best Director award and Cody Smith the McFeek Best Supporting Actor award. This is the second time in the history of the Golden Globe that a director’s film has won the Best Picture award.

The award for Best Musical or Comedy goes to Steven Spielberg’s musical romantic drama ‘West Side Story’. The Best Actress Award (Musical or Comedy) goes to Rachel Segler for her performance in the same film. The Best Supporting Actress award went to Ariana Debos for her performance in West Side Story. HBO’s series ‘Success’ is the best television drama. Jeremy Strong and Sarah Snook won Best Actor and Best Actress (Series) for their performance in the same series.

This time the award was announced following allegations of corruption in the administration. The Golden Globe, which was announced by several major Hollywood studios as non-cooperative, did not even have a live broadcast on television.
