Is there life beyond Earth? This is probably one of the great unanswered questions that human beings have been thinking about for decades. Thinking that we are alone in the immensity of the universe is something difficult to believe, but to date no evidence has been found that alien or extraterrestrial life exists.

The American Space Agency (NASA) could shed some light on this issue this Thursday, the day on which it will present the conclusions of the report it commissioned in 2022 from an independent commission on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), the term with which refers to UFOs.

NASA headquarters in Washington will be the site of this long-awaited exhibition in which details regarding the findings of the independent study team that prepared this report for the US Space Agency will be known and discussed.

“NASA defines UAP as observations of events in the sky that cannot be identified as aircraft or known natural phenomena from a scientific perspective. There are currently a limited number of high-quality observations of UAP, making it impossible to draw firm scientific conclusions about its nature,” explains the US Space Agency on its website.

The team that prepared the report is made up of 16 community experts from various areas in matters relevant to possible methods of studying unidentified anomalous phenomena. NASA has informed the participants in the briefing.

– Bill Nelson, NASA administrator.

– Nicola Fox, associate administrator, Directorate of Scientific Missions in Washington.

– Dan Evans, deputy associate administrator for research, NASA Science Mission Directorate.

– David Spergel, president of the Simons Foundation and chair of the NASA UAP independent study team.
