The former Director General of Transport Infrastructure, Jacques Sourou Ayadji occupies a new position. He is now the Director of Land and Air Transport. His appointment to this new position at the Ministry of Living Environment and Transport, in charge of Sustainable Development, took place at the Council of Ministers on Wednesday September 13, 2023. Born October 3, 1968, Jacques Ayadji is a graduate of the Collège Polytechnique Universitaire-Université Nationale du Bénin (CPU/UNB), now EPAC. Civil Engineering Engineer, Specialist in Road Works Control, he works in the fields of: infrastructure, buildings, public works, roads, structures, topography, construction materials, award and execution of public contracts. He followed Post-University Specialization training in Sanitary Engineering (recognized as equivalent to DESS by CAMES) at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (SWITZERLAND) then he obtained a Certificate of Specialization in Sanitary Engineering at the Inter-State School of Rural Equipment Engineers of Ouagadougou (BURKINA-FASO). His university training in Civil Engineering is followed by post-university studies in the field of public hygiene, biological sciences and environmental hygiene. In this capacity, he has skills such as: diagnosis, assembly, management and evaluation of development projects; hydraulic studies, studies of water and sanitation systems, environmental and/or health impact studies, public health project analysis, control and evaluation of building and public works works. In addition to his role in the administration, Jacques Ayadji is a political actor and president of the Moele-Bénin party.
