Giancarlo Magalli, guest today, Thursday 14 September on ‘BellaMa’ on Rai2, told Pierluigi Diaco that he wrote the program ‘Pronto Raffaella’ with Gianni Boncompagni initially for Gianni Morandi. The revelation within the new ‘BellaRai’ column, which every Thursday celebrates 70 years of state television.
The show, a true cult of Italian TV, started in October 1983 with Raffaella Carrà as host, but the first candidate was the singer from Monghidoro: “We had done a study on the morning TV audience and we understood that Morandi was their favorite artist. We asked him and he accepted. A month after the broadcast Gianni called me: ‘Guys, I’ve thought about it, I don’t feel like it’. At that point Boncompagni proposed Raffaella”, said Magalli, also imitating Morandi .
The full episode of ‘BellaMa’ (Monday to Friday from 3.27pm to 5pm) today, Thursday 14 September, will, as always, be available on RaiPlay from 6pm.
