On today’s episode of “The View,” moderator Whoopi Goldberg brought the show to a halt with a surprising question for co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin. During a political discussion, Goldberg stunned Griffin by asking, “Are you pregnant?”
Visibly shocked and embarrassed, Griffin quickly responded with a laugh, saying, “No! Oh my god! You can’t say that when my mother-in-law is here, who’s been dying for me to get pregnant!”
The unexpected question caught the other panelists off guard, with co-host Joy Behar asking, “Why would you say that?” The audience erupted in laughter, clearly taken aback by Goldberg’s comment.
Not backing down, Farah Griffin jokingly asked, “Why, do I look pregnant?” to which Goldberg replied, “Yes, I just got a vibe. I’m so sorry.”
Farah Griffin clarified that while she and her husband are open to the idea of having children, they have not been blessed with a pregnancy yet. “I’m very open to being pregnant soon. My husband and I are thinking about it,” she shared.
The personal question arose during a discussion about Mitt Romney’s decision not to seek another Senate term, making it even more unexpected. However, Farah Griffin took the lighthearted approach, joking, “I’ll take a test when I get home just to be sure,” before the conversation shifted back to politics.
