The coach of the French XV has revealed the composition of his team for the second group match against Uruguay, which will take place on Thursday September 14.

After a clear victory against the All Blacks in the opening match (27-13), the French XV is preparing to face the valiant Uruguay team on Thursday September 14, at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium in Lille.
The French XV continues its journey in Group A well started with a historic match against New Zealand at the Stade de France on Friday September 8, and is aiming for first place. For the meeting with Uruguay, coach Fabien Galthié decided to rotate his squad by resting the executives who faced the Blacks.

Jelonch returns
The long-awaited return of Anthony Jelonch, seriously injured with a ruptured cruciate ligament in his left knee in February during the 2023 Six Nations tournament, will occur, with the honor of wearing the captain’s armband, a responsibility he had already assumed during the summer tour in Australia in July 2021. Jonathan Danty, also injured in his hamstring a few weeks ago, is not on the match sheet.
