An ostrich circling a passenger in Tianjin, northern China. Vehicles traveling on the Rongsheng-Wuhai Expressway were hit by an ostrich that ran through the country road. The ostrich jumped out of a truck traveling on the road and ran down the public road in a panic.
Pictures and footage of an ostrich running along the expressway have been released. The ostrich was running on a three-lane road, slipping from one line to another. This prevented the vehicles from moving forward. Traffic was also disrupted as ostriches continued to roam the streets. A man traveling on the expressway informed officials that a giant ostrich the size of a car had entered the street.
Realizing the seriousness of the incident, the police immediately rushed to the spot and caught the ostrich. There were multiple ostriches in the truck. While traveling with these, the ostrich jumped out when the door of the truck accidentally opened. Ostriches can grow up to nine feet in length and weigh up to 150 pounds[150 kg].
