Although the latest installment of Fantastic Beasts did not have the best reception from the public, Warner Bros still has plans for the Harry Potter universe. As announced at the beginning of the year, one of the main projects to continue exploring one of its most lucrative intellectual properties is a television reboot for Max (formerly HBO Max) of the young magician and of which some details are beginning to be known.

David Heyman, producer of the eight film adaptations of Harry Potter, referred to the state of the series and announced that it will explore the material of the novels in greater depth, something that could be in line with the wishes of fans. “It’s a little early. But we hope it will be something very special and that it will give us the opportunity to materialize the books. “To enjoy a series that explores them more deeply,” the executive recently clarified before Total Film.
This new work on Harry Potter will retell the adventures brought to the screen, but under the idea of tackling one book per season. This would mean that it is a long-term strategy on the part of Warner Bros. that could be on the air for almost a decade. It is worth mentioning that the series is in the initial stages of development and may be several years away before it can materialize.
