Browsing center owner commits suicide after losing money in online gambling

Online gambling is a life-threatening atrocity. Losing millions of dollars in online gambling has led to the suicide of a browsing center owner.

Dinesh hails from Coimbatore, Chennai and has a wife and two children. He was running a browsing center called Global Net in Coimbatore and committed suicide by hanging himself at the reception of his house.

Upon learning of this, the police rushed to the spot and recovered Dinesh’s body and sent it to the government hospital for autopsy. Also, the police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.

Preliminary inquiries revealed that Dinesh was addicted to playing online rummy on his cell phone and had lost millions of rupees in online rummy due to debt and was addicted to alcohol. The investigation also found that Dinesh had committed suicide because he could not repay the loan. Following this, the police seized Dinesh’s cell phone and sent it to the cyber laboratory.

The incident took place last week when a bank official committed suicide after killing his wife and two children in the abyss after losing money in online gambling. Similarly, a railway employee who was in debt for losing money in online gambling was robbed of money at the ticket counter and arrested in the theater.

Everyone is demanding a complete ban on online gambling in order to prevent the loss of lives caused by online gambling.
