A program to dematerialize registration certificate models for imported vehicles has just been implemented at customs level. This project, carried out in collaboration with GasyNet, aims to accelerate and secure the issuance of these certificates while allowing their verification online and offline, indicated the customs service.
Thanks to this program, certificates are automatically generated as soon as the customs declaration is paid. This transition simplifies the process and eliminates the need to manually issue a certificate according to the customs regime when importing a vehicle. These certificates are then used for vehicle registration with the Madagascar Registration Centers (CIM).
A new system that will reduce the time it takes for imported cars to be released while strengthening security against fraud. The Director General of Customs, Lainkana Zafivanona Ernest, was full of praise for the importance of this initiative for his management and for his partners.
