The former trolleybus depot is now a haven for polished motorbikes and limousines. Many were driven by presidents or famous personalities.

“We now have five dozen cars, 80 motorbikes and 30 bicycles here,” stated Roman Jurečko, chairman of the foundation fund Plzeň seba, which is behind the creation of the museum.

Amazing frets

Emil Příhoda (91) lent part of his unique collection, four dozen Praga cars. His collection of more than a hundred thresholds is on the UNESCO list.

“I like them all very much, I don’t have a favorite among them. They’re like my children, you can’t say you like them better.” said Emil Příhoda. He has the third largest collection of cars of one brand owned by one person in the world.

Great bikes

Motorcycles are a good match for cars, Petr Hošťálek (80) moved the unique collection here from southern Bohemia. His “sweetheart”, a BMW from 1927, is parked at the front.

“It’s a special modification for road racing. He was 10 years ahead of others then, perfect, fast. I’ve had it since I was 18,” the collector confided. The organizers would like to open to the public as soon as possible.
