The game opens in a fairly balanced way but after 20 minutes the cards are dealt. Guy Melamed recorded a big miss when he kicked to the crossbar from five meters, but the VAR team identified a catch in the shirt and Hapoel Jerusalem midfielder, Awka Ashta, received a direct red card and arranged for Bnei Sakhnin a penalty kick from 11 meters. Biram Kiel did not get confused and gave his team a 0: 1 advantage that was maintained until the half, when the good ability of Advio Adley in the goal prevented a greater result.
In the second half, Bnei Sakhnin fell asleep. Hapoel Jerusalem began to move forward and at times the numerical disadvantage was not felt at all. Ziv Arieh’s players were unable to take advantage of the weakness and the host again put pressure on the goal. In the 75th minute Guy Melamed was sent forward by Iahab Ghanaim, passed two players in tremendous personal action and finished with a wonderful kick to the net. Deep in overtime, Guy Badash scored a goal in a beautiful performance, but it was not enough for the Jerusalemites and Sakhnin won 1: 2.
