Actor Nicholas Cage and his new wife Rico Shivta are expecting their first baby together. As mentioned, this will be the actor’s third child, who recently celebrated his 58th birthday. As is well known, Cage has two sons from a previous marriage, 31-year-old Weston and 16-year-old Kal. As you may recall, Cage and Rico got married last February in Las Vegas, and have managed to pick up quite a few.
One of the main reasons for this is the dramatic age gap between the two, when Rico is three decades younger than the actor. This was Rico’s first marriage, and Cage’s fifth. As you may recall, his fourth marriage to artist Erica Colica he canceled a total of just four days since swapping vows.
Cage and Rico first met in Japan, where the actor lived while working on a new film. In August 2020 the two declared that they were engaged, after spending half a year away from each other. People close to the two said that Cage and Rico got engaged in Pace Time because they simply could not resist any longer.
The wedding, by the way, was intimate and small, and was held at a hotel in Las Vegas with family and close friends. “We are happy and excited,” the actor wrote on the social network, and soon received enthusiastic and encouraging responses from hundreds of thousands of fans.
