Canelones Municipality
The Municipality of Canelones has taken a step in an attempt to project transparency and citizen participation by launching an online platform that provides updated information on the progress status of various works and projects throughout the department. The website, obracanelones.uywas launched in August and allows citizens to explore the initiatives led by the departmental government of Canelones through the General Directorate of Works.
This platform, designed to be accessible and useful, offers surfers various tools, including an intuitive search engine, a community testimonials section, and links of interest related to ongoing projects.
Since its launch, obracanelones.uy It has become a valuable source of information for the residents of the department. This emblematic space, located in front of the centenary Politeama Theater, will become a cultural center of departmental reference. In Solymar, Road and hydraulic infrastructure works are being carried out that cover 3.7 kilometers of streets, with the aim of paving all the streets of Montes de Solymar.
