The use of illegally deployed radio-electronic combat systems in the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan is of particular concern.
Day.Az reports that this was stated at the briefing held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
“During the last few months, including July 13, July 24, July 27, August 21, September 1, civil aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines, as well as civil aircraft of foreign countries, were subjected to radio-electronic interference. These interferences affect people and air traffic. It is a serious threat to its security. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), as well as the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation, have been informed about such threatening activities,” it was added.
