The video, which quickly gained traction on social media, has left many puzzled about the circumstances leading up to the altercation.
The 20-second video clip, posted on [X social media platform], shows Osman engaged in a verbal exchange with another passenger in the airplane aisle. “Call me a b**** again,” she says amidst laughter from the person filming the incident. Osman proceeds to grab her luggage, exclaiming, “I did nothing wrong!”
Growing more agitated, Osman responds to someone off-camera with expletives and derogatory language. Strikingly, she turns towards the passenger recording her and proudly asserts, “Film me, I’m Instagram famous, you f***ing bum.”
After the video went viral, Morgan Osman confirmed her involvement in the incident on the plane, having previously starred in the reality show “Bad Girls Clubs.” Having amassed over 981,000 followers on Instagram, the influencer shared various articles about the plane altercation on her Instagram Story. She refuted claims of being kicked off the plane, stating that she decided to leave rather than escalate the situation to violence.
Osman even made light of the incident by sharing a photo with her ex, German fashion designer Philipp Plein, on her social media accounts, subtly hinting at her celebrity status.
This incident has drawn comparisons to a similar situation involving Tiffany Gomas on an American Airlines flight in July, where she launched into a meltdown, screaming at passengers and voicing delusional accusations about a fellow traveler. Gomas, later regretting her actions, characterized it as her “very worst moment.”
Interestingly, news of Osman’s airplane argument comes just after another incident involving American Airlines on September 2. In that incident, a teenage girl was unknowingly filmed by a male flight attendant while using the plane bathroom. The flight attendant was subsequently removed by Massachusetts State Police after discovering a phone attached to the toilet seat.
At present, the motive behind Osman’s altercation and the exact details leading up to the argument remain unknown. The Independent has reached out to American Airlines for comment on the situation.
