DoorDash Expands Grocery Delivery with Eight New Partners

DoorDash, one of the leading food delivery platforms in the United States, has announced the addition of eight new grocery partners to its on-demand delivery service. The company claims that more than 99% of its monthly consumers now have access to a wide range of convenience and grocery retailers through the DoorDash Marketplace.

The new grocery partners available on the platform include CUB, Eataly, The Super, Mart Party, Lowe’s Markets, Pruett’s Food, Stater Bros. Markets, and Strack & Van Til. With these additions, DoorDash aims to provide customers with a diverse selection of grocery products, ranging from fresh produce to household essentials, sourced from different regions across the country.

CUB, for example, will offer on-demand delivery of fresh produce and over-the-counter pharmacy products from 79 locations in Minnesota. Additionally, Cub Wine & Spirits and Cub Liquor locations will also be available on the platform. Eataly, known for its high-quality Italian foods and artisan-made products, will deliver from its seven locations in major cities such as New York City, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Silicon Valley.

The Super, a grocery chain specializing in Latin American products and other household essentials, will provide delivery from 65 locations across California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas. Mart Party, known for its international variety and lowest prices, will deliver extensive perishable departments from 59 locations in Houston, Dallas, and Austin.

Lowe’s Markets, with its community-first philosophy, will offer on-demand delivery from over 140 neighborhood stores in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Kansas. Pruett’s Food, focusing on high-quality products at affordable prices, will soon be available for on-demand grocery delivery from 10 locations in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Stater Bros. Markets, known for providing high-quality and fresh products at affordable prices, will deliver from nearly 170 locations across Southern California. Lastly, Strack & Van Til will supply Midwest consumers with the finest quality groceries, perishables, and freshly prepared foods from 22 locations throughout Northwest Indiana and Illinois.

DoorDash is confident that these new grocery partners will see incremental growth by joining the DoorDash app, which already includes over 100,000 non-restaurant retailers. The company believes that the convenience and reliability of their delivery service will attract more customers to these grocery partners.

In addition to the new grocery partnerships, DoorDash also announced an expansion of its partnership with Aldi. The popular grocery chain will now offer safe and age-verified alcohol delivery through DoorDash. Customers can now conveniently order alcohol from over 1,600 Aldi locations across 21 states. Earlier this year, Aldi joined the DoorDash Marketplace to offer nationwide grocery delivery.

With these latest additions to its platform, DoorDash is solidifying its position as a leading player in the competitive grocery delivery market. As more consumers turn to online shopping for their everyday needs, the convenience and extensive options offered by DoorDash are likely to attract even more customers.
