“Jann Wenner has been removed from the board of directors of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation,” Hall of Fame spokespersons said Saturday, a day after Wenner’s comments were published in an interview with The New York Times. York Times.

“About black artists, you know, Stevie Wonder, genius, is that true? I guess when you use a word as broad as ‘teacher’, the mistake is using that word as if it were anything… Marvin Gaye or Curtis Mayfield? I mean, for me they didn’t articulate at that level,” Wenner continued.
