Renfe has presented its new uniforms, designed by Ulises Mérida from Toledo, during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, held at the Madrid venue of IFEMA.

The uniforms presented will be those worn by the nearly 7,400 Renfe workers who have direct contact with customers, distributed into three main groups: commercial service at stations (sales and customer service), commercial service on trains (intervention) and staff of conduction.

The new image also affects more than 2,000 workers of the ground service provider of the company Logirail and more than 1,100 of the onboard service personnel of the company Serveo.

The company decided in 2022 to change the uniform of its workers. To this end, the company held two tenders: the design tender, in which the designer Ulises Mérida was the winner, and a subsequent manufacturing and distribution tender, which was awarded to the Iturri company.

Thus, the uniform, in the case of women, includes a jacket, skirt or pants and blouse and, in the case of men, includes a jacket, pants and shirt. For both sexes, outerwear, shoes and a series of accessories, including women’s ties and scarves, bags, scarves, gloves and socks, along with a suitcase and a backpack.
