Passion for Knowledgethe great dissemination event organized by the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC), has already become an unmissable event for science lovers.
The festival Passion for Knowledge promotes science as an essential activity for the well-being of future generations. The event is multifaceted and has been designed as a true festival of knowledge that takes place every three years and expands to the entire Basque Country. The last edition took place before the pandemic, in 2019, with more than 11,800 spectators who attended all types of free access activities.
This great festival has the participation of great figures in science who have been protagonists of some of the most relevant discoveries of recent years. It is a luxury within everyone’s reach to be able to attend public talks at the Victoria Eugenia Theater (San Sebastián), the Guggenheim Museum (Bilbao) or Baluarte (Pamplona) and continue learning alongside Nobel Prize winners and world-class experts.
The extensive program includes, in addition to plenary conferences, activities for different audiences: meetings with high school students and with scientists, exhibitions, children’s workshops, shows, screenings… and of course, two talk sessions by Naukas.
