Pastor Jack, from the Vintage Church, preached last weekend against abortion, indicating that there is an attempt by the current culture to normalize the issue and opposing this discourse by equating the termination of pregnancy with other crimes.
Throughout the sermon, Pastor Jack made his opposition stance evident by stating that in the church he leads in Porto Alegre there would be no space for discussions that considered the hypothesis of acceptance of abortion, then adding that people in favor of abortion are not welcome.
“Abortion is murder. Secondly, abortion is racism. Of every three aborted children, two are black. If you support abortion, you are a filthy racist, of the same ilk as Hitler. Abortion is a satanic attitude”, he introduced.
The organization Worldometers brings together several metrics about life on the planet, and one of its counters directly involves abortion. At the time of writing this article, cases of deliberately terminated pregnancies, in 2023 alone, had already reached 32 million. The numbers take into account data gathered by the World Health Organization.
In this scenario, Jack stated that “abortion is one of the greatest, or the greatest crime that can exist in the world”, adding that “nothing is more vile than you, as an adult, making an attempt on the life of a defenseless being”.
The initiative of the pastor of the Vintage Church is directly at the judgment of ADPF 442 by the Federal Supreme Court (STF): “The fact that abortion is discussed is already a tragedy. ‘Ah, I’m in favor of a plebiscite to see whether we’re going to have abortions or not’. Are you in favor of a plebiscite for this? So I’m in favor of a plebiscite to find out whether politicians can live or not. Whether black people should live or not. Whether white people should live or not”, he pointed out, sizing up the argument that what is at stake is the legalization of murder.
“People come up with arguments saying the following: ‘but just don’t abort’. Now, move this argument to other questions. Are you against rape? Just don’t rape. Let others rape. Isn’t that a demonic argument? Would you sit down to discuss superiority against the Jews with a Nazi? Would you try to prove to him that Jews are people? Or would you lift the table, kick everything up? There are no conditions”, he defined.
“The same thing that involves abortion. You who are here, if you imagine defending abortion, we will expel you immediately. You are prohibited from entering here. If you are a member of the church and want to raise your voice to defend abortion, you are instantly excommunicated. It doesn’t matter who you are. If the Church doesn’t raise its voice for babies, who will?” closed o pastor Jack.
