The Karabakh authorities today put the death toll at 25 in the “anti-terrorist operation” launched on Tuesday by Azerbaijan against the disputed enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Among the dead are two civilians, according to Guegam Stepanián, Ombudsman of the self-proclaimed republic of Nagorno Karabakh.
According to the same sources, there are about 138 injured.
According to the AFP agency, Nagorno-Karabakh separatists on Tuesday blamed the international community for failing to prevent another escalation of violence in the separatist region, after Azerbaijan launched a military operation there and asked Armenian-backed forces to they gave up
