Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, was charged with two misdemeanors of simple assault.

The singer pleaded no contest to the charge of blowing his nose, in a deal negotiated with prosecutors. The prosecution agreed to dismiss the other charge, which alleged he spat on the woman. A no contest plea means that Manson neither denies the accusation nor admits guilt.

Later, Manson approached her again, knelt down and covered one nostril before blowing mucus that fell on the camera operator’s arms and hands. In a statement, Fountain said it was “the most disgusting thing a human being could have done.”

Manson “blowed a significant amount of snot at Fountain,” a police sergeant who reviewed video of the concert said in a sworn statement. After that, the camera image changes and Manson can be seen “pointing and laughing at Fountain, as she ducks and walks away.”

On Monday, Manson entered the Court’s main entrance. He wore a suit and was dressed in black from head to toe, with sunglasses. He identified himself in court as Brian Warner, using a soft voice.

Furthermore, he only answered “yes” to the judge’s questions about whether he understood the procedure and did not make any statement. Prosecutor Andrew Livernois said it was his first offense and that he had no criminal record. Fountain was not present in court.
