American corporation Microsoft released Windows 11 update, which added a number of innovations to the system, including recommendation links in the Start menu. The new preview build of the operating system can only be downloaded by members of the Windows Insider program.
The Windows Start menu has previously provided users with recommendations, but these were only within system settings. Now, among the recommendations there will be links to sites that the system finds useful and interesting for the user, for example, links to streaming services Netflix or Spotify. Microsoft believes that the innovation will provide users with quick access to sites that are important to them. Recommendations can be edited and those that seem irrelevant can be deleted. Users will also be able to completely disable this feature in the Personalization section of the settings.
Previously, Microsoft added functions for copying text from an image to the Snipping app in Windows, and is also testing the ability to capture video. Also, the Windows 11 settings page will now adapt to the user.
