Freedom. Salvadoran surfers Amado de Jesús Alvarado and Sindy Portillo, who are part of the Indes Effort and Glory Program, will compete in the Surf City El Salvador Longboard Classic 2023.
This event will take place at Playa El Sunzal, La Libertad, from September 19 to 25; Sports authorities said that Alvarado and Portillo received an invitation (wild card) granted by the World Surf League (WSL), thanks to the athletes’ performance in past competitions.
Coach Fernando Menjívar considered that this opportunity is of utmost importance for his pupils. “We are ready for the competition,” he commented.
