Recognition for outstanding services in the field of cinema
Tamil actor Chimpu holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Wales. Chimpu received the recognition for his services to the film industry. The founder, chairman and chancellor of the university, Dr. Chimpu was awarded an honorary doctorate by Aishari K Ganesh. Chimpu’s parents also attended the function in Chennai.
Chimpu’s next film is ‘Vent Thaninthath Kaad’ directed by Gautham Menon.
