As of this Monday, September 18, the extra cash service was enabled in the province at points of sale of liquefied gas, according to what was declared to the artemiseño Luisa Rizo Gil, head of the provincial commercial area of liquefied petroleum gas.
This possibility allows people to withdraw cash if they require it, without having to go to the bank or an ATM.
He adds that since mid-August payment through electronic channels has been available in these units, a possibility that, together with the new extra cash service, seeks to reduce the number of cash operations.
“At the points of sale, the workers who serve the public have the Transfermóvil service to make the payment. We still have to print the QR code in some of the places,” added the directive.
“The sale of released gas is taking place today in four municipalities: San Antonio de los Baños, Mariel, Caimito and Artemisa. The largest amount of cash is concentrated in these, but equally in the smaller offices users are given the possibility.”
The province has approximately 77,000 customers, including Normans and freedmen, distributed in 28 points of sale.
