Moore Theads is a Chinese company that has developed its own graphics architecture although it has encountered the harsh reality of graphics drivers. It usually positions its few models that are for sale in China at gamers, but as Intel also knows, the complicated thing is optimizing the controllers for all the myriad of games that are available. Although they are based on standards, in the end each graphics engine and each developer usually takes certain paths that end up causing visual problems.

Now the company has distributed a new update to its drivers that implements OpenGL 3.3, which is not the newest but is OpenGL 4.6. But there are a certain number of programs and games that specifically use that version and some features it introduced, even though it was a version released alongside OpenGL 4.0.

It also improves compatibility with CryEngine 5.7, with which Moore Threads promises a 40% improvement. Other optimizations have to do with DirectX 11, and even the test Unigine Valley improves its performance by 30%, in addition to others for games like Dark Souls: Remastered, GTFO, The Riftbreaker, SketchUp 2023, and 3D Oneand around twenty bug fixes in titles like Apex Legends, NBA2K Online 2or even with the AV1 codec.

It is interesting that there is a new competitor in the sector, especially for the Chinese market, which always serves as a test for this, but it will take a lot of time to optimize the controllers for games from the last 20 years. If not, ask Intel what they are suffering with in the Arc. But once that work is done, the rest solo It consists of evolving the architecture.
