The judge of the National audience Francisco de Jorge, who investigates alleged crimes of sexual assault and coercion related to the kiss of the former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation Luis Rubiales to the national team player Jenni Hermoso, has summoned several people for the next September 25, 28 and October 2 to testify as witnesses and experts in this procedure. This is the football director of the men’s team, Albert Luke; the marketing director, Ruben Rivera; the press officer of the women’s team, Patricia Perez; and the director of integrity, Miguel García Caba.
All of them belong to departments in which the national team players, who are playing this afternoon in a Nations League match against Sweden, requested the RFEF for a “restructuring” in the statement in which they expressed their refusal to be summoned.
