Riyadh: A robotic system for the distribution of ZamZam water at a mosque in the holy city of Makkah. It is equipped with a robot that can deliver 30 bottles in 10 minutes. The robot works for eight hours.
A bottle of samsa water will be given to the needy within 20 seconds. More robots will be deployed throughout the church. Samsam water is tested daily in laboratories to ensure safety and quality, officials said.
Court order to name and insult the accused who harassed the girl
Riyadh: A court in Saudi Arabia has ordered the naming and shaming of a young man convicted of sexually harassing a woman. In addition to his imprisonment and fine, the Madinah Criminal Court ordered that his name and other information be published in a newspaper advertisement at his own expense. This is the first time such a ruling has been announced in Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi cabinet recently approved a law that would release information about perpetrators of sexual assault cases and humiliate them in society. Under the new law, the names and other details of those who commit sexual assaults will be made public through newspapers and other means. This is the first court ruling in the country since it came into force.
Yasser al-Muslim al-Arawi has been sentenced to eight months in prison and fined 5,000 riyals for harassing a young woman with obscene language. In addition, he has been ordered to publish his information in local newspapers at his own expense. In January 2021, some new additions were made to the country’s anti-sexual harassment law. The law also includes provisions against those who make false sexual allegations.
