The square in front of the ‘Striscia la Notizia’ studio is Piazza Gianfranco D’Angelo

During the presentation to the press of the 36th season of ‘Striscia la notizia – La voci della veggenza’, a plaque was inaugurated in honor of Gianfranco D’Angelo, first host of Striscia together with Ezio Greggio and protagonist of Drive In, to which he was the square where the satirical news studios are located was named after it. Also present for the occasion were the historic authors of ‘Drive In’, a program which turns 40 on 4 October, Lorenzo Beccati, Max Greggio, Gennaro Ventimiglia, Gino Vignali and Michele Mozzati, Gialappa’s Giorgio Gherarducci and Marco Santin, in addition to daughters of Gianfranco D’Angelo: Daniela and Simona.
