I saw the light at a time when my province was called “The Garden of the Republic,” and I continued to see that same light for a few more years. And shortly after, I had the impression that in Tucumán the men who were born with that gift of intelligence were exhausted, as well as those who wanted to make the effort to continue maintaining that concept of our Province in the country. And I think that this happened to many people in our Society. Because the delay began. We stopped planning the works that we would need over the years, we were left without the necessary roads, without the water sources that today this Society cries out for, without sufficient drainage, with outdated and poorly done works. Don’t we have four Universities that can point out our needs and how to address them? Today we wanted to build a Civic Center and we did not carry it out, even though we already spent money on the project and it did not yet have access roads for those who lived anywhere in the Province; We still do not know what will become of the El Cadillal Dam, will it be rescued? There is no more talk about the Potrero de las Tablas Dam, an expensive work whose project can still be modified; It is also not known if the new aqueduct, which is in charge of two lawyers, will be completed. And so they could point out other needs that the majority do not address, such as the treatment of Urban Solid Waste and many other things. If I am wrong in what I say, I will expect someone to disprove it.
