Relics of Padre Pio in Rome

Walking down the famous Roman street of Via dei Coronari, a large sign announced that the relics of Padre Pio would be displayed in the Church of San Salvatore in Lauro, the saint’s home in the Italian capital.

This church is also an important center for disseminating the spirituality of the Saint of Pietrelcina, since it is the meeting point of Padre Pio’s prayer groups in the diocese of Rome.

In addition, every September 23, special celebrations are organized in which each believer present at the sanctuary is blessed with the mantle that belonged to Padre Pio.
