A fire broke out on Saturday evening at an electric bicycle laboratory on Sderot Maginin in Haifa. The Haifa fire station, led by Rabbi Reshef Eitan Ripa, quickly responded to the scene to extinguish the fire that engulfed an electric bicycle shop and laboratory for lithium batteries.
Numerous reports were received by the 102 center, prompting the fire department to deploy additional forces. The firefighters bravely entered the store amidst thick smoke and intense heat, and their swift action allowed them to gain control of the fire and release the smoke. Thankfully, there were no casualties reported, but the laboratory suffered significant damage.
In light of the incident, an arson investigator has been appointed to look into the circumstances that led to the fire. The cause of the fire is currently unknown and under investigation.
